Hi! I’m Sissy Taran. Welcome to my Web page. After my husband, Bernie, died suddenly from stomach cancer, I decided to write a book about my path of grieving. I am not a psychologist or a grief counselor, but a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and community volunteer.  I wanted to share my story and the steps I took to get through that difficult first year of grieving. The Sun Will Shine Again is told with neighbor-to-neighbor candor and is filled with lots of personal stories, tears, and laughter.

Each person handles death in a different way, but it was my hope that by sharing my experiences, I could offer insights and motivation  to help people – not just those who are grieving – to live life to the fullest and see the sun shine again.
